MGM Resorts Expands with New Live Dealer Studio at MGM Grand in Las Vegas
MGM Resorts, a renowned name in the world of casinos, has recently added a new live dealer studio to its iconic MGM Grand hotel-casino property in Las Vegas. Developed in collaboration with Playtech, a leading gaming software provider, this new studio is set to offer online live dealer content to players in select international markets where such products are permitted.
New Studio Opening Soon
The partnership between MGM Resorts International and Playtech has given birth to this exciting new live dealer studio. According to reports from the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the live dealers conducting the games will be visible to guests of MGM Grand, who can catch glimpses of them from the adjacent Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill.
The studio, known as MGM Live, will feature popular live dealer games alongside a special Family Feud-branded game area offering TV show-style products. While the exact nature of the Family Feud area’s usage remains unclear, MGM is yet to confirm whether it will cater to online or in-person experiences.
Although the live dealer studio is awaiting regulatory approvals, MGM officials are optimistic and anticipate hosting the first games by the end of the first half of the year.
Unfortunately, players in Nevada will not have access to the games offered by the new studio due to restrictions on online gaming in the state.
MGM’s Future Plans
In a statement to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, a spokesperson from MGM Resorts expressed:
Pending regulatory approval, we are currently working to introduce the next phase of our live dealer product with plans to livestream new gaming experiences from our studio space located on MGM Grand’s casino floor in Las Vegas.
The spokesperson also hinted at forthcoming updates as more information becomes available.
Following an earlier collaboration between MGM Resorts and Playtech, which introduced a dual-cast service allowing players to place bets in-person and online on live roulette and baccarat tables at MGM Grand and Bellagio, the development of the MGM Live studio marks another milestone in enhancing the gaming experience for players in international markets.

Aside from the live dealer studio, MGM Resorts recently announced a partnership with the First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) to launch a new credit card, offering customers the opportunity to earn more points and tier credits under the operator’s loyalty program.
